Party at the President's

The President and Hermana had a party for the couples that were leaving.
They have 2 large dining tables at their house to accommodate a crowd.

The other side of the table, Elder Kimball, the Kenningtons and me in the corner by Elder L. You can't see me because I am the one taking the picture.

Lilly, the mission home cook, and we all LOVE her!
Elder Mora and Hermana Kennington entertained us with a couple of musical tunes.

Jack & Jill Go Up The Hill

This is queso depunte. It is Elder L's favorite cheese.
This wonderful sister from the Glaznier chapel ward comes to the church office to cut anyones hair who needs it cut. Her prices are very reasonable and she is happy for the work and we are happy for the haircuts.
Elder L looks handsome even when he is getting his haircut.
We are in Chillan playing Mexican Train with the Pulsiphers and the Kimballs. What great people! We sure do miss them.
Even Elder L had fun playing the game.
The Kimballs wanted to hike up to the tower before they left to go home. The tower is located on the hill by Ecuador Park. So one Saturday morning us, the Kimballs, the Baldens, the office elders Gillespie and Herrera, and the AP's Evans and Morgan headed to Ecuador Park for our morning constitutional.
Tally ho, let's go! Heading up the hill.
The hike actually ended up being on a paved road. This is how the road looked. It was hard on you if you had bad ankles but I thought it felt good on the bottom of my feet. It kind of massaged them.
Part way up you could stop and admire the view or take a little rest.
This is a picture of the road going up. It was not a very steep incline.
This is the Baldens. She is the mission nurse and he helps with the finances when he isn't driving his wife all over the mission.
A beautiful view of the city in the background.
Concepcion in all of her beauty!
Just happy to be here!
Hmmm, wonder if I could fit in there?
Yes, I did fit in there!
And it was fun until I realized that the dogs loved it in there to. I think it was there little summer house.
We made it to the top.
The elders showing off.
The infamous tower. One more item we can check off of our bucket list for Concepcion.
