"The standard of truth has been erected; no unhallowed can stop the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent , visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done." Joseph Smith Jr.

Beaches, beaches, beaches.
This is a fun picture of some of the food that we bought. Everything is in bags instead of jars. The mustard, ketchup, mayo, jams, dill pickles and the list goes on and on.
This is the milk we like to use on our cereal. It sits on the shelf in the store and then we put it in the fridge when we open it. Just a word of caution, never say never. When Elder L talked about this kind of milk when he went on his first mission I said I would NEVER use that kind of milk ever. Once again I am eating my words, but in this case it is more like drinking them.
On one of our Saturday excursions with the Kimballs, we went to Tome. Elder L is standing in front of a world famous fabric store. I guess anyone that is truly into interior design knows about this warehouse. They ship fabric all over the world.
They also sold suits in the fabric store.
The Kimballs enjoying some of the wares at the fabric store.
Elder L buying some fabric to make me a new skirt.
We drove past the beach at Dichato, we didn't stop because it was too crowded.
I think all of the beaches were crowded that Saturday. The Kimballs took us to one of their favorite beaches. I loved the parking lot. The trees were cleared out so that each space was defined by a row of trees on each side.
A tiny hike to the beach. It felt good to stretch our legs and feel the breeze off the ocean on a hot day.
Looking for seashells, fun no matter what age you are.
Beach bums or bathing beauties, you decide. We sure had fun even though we looked rather odd since everyone else was in swimwear.
Just picking a few blackberries. They seem to be everywhere.
More pictures by the beach.
Chile has lots and lots of beautiful beaches.
