"The standard of truth has been erected; no unhallowed can stop the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent , visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done." Joseph Smith Jr.

Fun in February
This is Elder L and I outside of a German pastry shop in Concepcion. We like to go here on our girl's day out, that would be me, the mission nurse, the President's wife and the secretaria from the South mission. Sometimes us girls need to have a tiny escape to laugh and eat chocolate.
This is one of the other walls of the building. You can see the German influence.
One of the fun things about Chile is that you can see random cows or horses grazing in the park right in downtown Concepcion. Just always, always watch where you walk!
This is Elder L's very favorite cheese store. He buys queso despunte here every week.
He has to get there in the morning to get that kind of cheese because it is very popular.
Elders Harrison, Castro, Johnson and Elder Evans the AP. These are part of the new missionary group, this picture was taken Feb 13th.
Hermanas Dunne, Jennings, Blau, Arndt and Vasquez also new missionaries.
Elders Zevallos, Castro Diego, AP Morgan and Pillar.
Elders Madiana, Lozano,---------, Martinez and Harrison.
Elder Flores and Elder Hualinga. Elder H. has had to have surgery on his foot.
Elders Vasques, Bianco, Encarnacion and Vasquez.
The office elders and AP's having fun with a bouquet that was delivered to a hermana in our mission for Valentine's day. The only problem was that the hermana was located about 4 hours away. So she didn't get her flowers for a few days but we sure enjoyed them in the office.
We celebrated Hermana Arrington's birthday on Feb 14th with a surprise lunch with the office staff and couples located in the Concepcion area. Her birthday wasn't until next week but her and the Presidente were going to be out of town.
This man was dressed up and acting like a wind-up toy in downtown Concepcion. He was interesting to watch and the crowd was fascinated by him.
You really see some interesting sites living in the city!
